Summary

Water leaking from a window AC unit can catch anyone off guard, especially during the humid months in Baton Rouge. This homeowner called us when their unit started dripping indoors and soaking the window frame. A quick response and the right approach were needed to keep things comfortable and prevent further damage.

The Work

Diagnosed the source of the leak and removed the window unit for full access
Pulled the unit apart and cleaned out heavy buildup, including dirt and rust
Cleared drainage channels and removed debris causing the blockage
Provided a veteran discount to honor the homeowner's service

The Outcome

The unit now drains as it should, stopping the water from pooling inside and restoring proper cooling. The window frame is protected from water damage, and the AC runs cleaner and more efficiently. If your window unit starts leaking, a deep clean might be all it needs.
